The Sheep Rock Unit is the largest and the most visited one out of three units of John Day Fossil Beds National Monument. Besides the stunning views and reach collection of fossils and archeological features, the Sheep Rock Unit includes Thomas Condon Paleontology Center and numerous trails for exploration of the area.
