Our filmmaker Alexey Romanov embarked on a cinematic journey near the city of Ufa, exploring the picturesque Elm Forest, a former hunting reserve covering a vast expanse. Throughout the filming process, Alexey covered an impressive 17-kilometer distance. Blessed with favorable weather conditions, he seized the opportunity to capture the beauty of this unassuming yet enchanting landscape. The simplicity of the terrain, a typical forest setting, presented its own unique charm. Alexey occasionally ventured off the beaten path, weaving his way through the thicket and between the ancient tree trunks. Returning from the depths of the forest required the use of a navigator, as this tranquil wilderness offered no distinct landmarks to guide the way. To enhance the viewer’s experience, the sound recording was meticulously executed on location, subtly embellishing the natural audio to fill the autumn forest’s characteristic sound vacuum. The result is a captivating video that transports its audience into the heart of the Elm Forest, inviting them to immerse themselves in the serene beauty of this unspoiled natural setting.

To capture the essence of the Elm Forest, filmmaker Alexey Romanov employed a versatile set of equipment.
