Today you’re here, at Mount Rainier National Park. The wooden house you’re sitting near is indeed the Mt. Fremont Fire Lookout, located at the summit of Mt. Fremont. It’s a historic fire lookout tower built in 1925 to spot and report wildfires. Standing at 7,000 feet above sea level, the cabin offers some of the most awe-inspiring panoramic views in the entire park.
