The Echo Peak Loop Trail is a popular 2.4-mile hike near Renton, Washington. It is a relatively easy hike with a moderate elevation gain of 800 feet. The trail offers stunning views of the surrounding area, including the Olympic Mountains, Lake Desire, and the city of Renton. The trail is dog-friendly and can be accessed from the Spring Lake Park parking lot. The best time to hike the trail is in the spring or fall, when the weather is mild. However, the trail can also be hiked in the winter, when the snow-covered landscape provides a beautiful and unique experience. The Echo Peak Loop trail passes through a variety of different habitats, including a forest, a meadow, and a bog.
